This photo was taken at a home in Horseshoe Bay West. If you take a lot of time, it is fairly easy to train deer to eat out of your hand and these two fawns learned early. A herd of over 20 deer came to this house on a daily basis for their share of deer corn. As many as 47 deer at one time showed up for a meal. Six of the deer were tame enought to eat out of visitors' hands. Every time the owners of the home opened their garage door, the deer came running from all directions. It was the deer's signal that it was feeding time.
