Hi-Line Lake Resort is a very popular vacation spot on the West Shore of Lake Buchanan 75 miles northwest of Austin, Texas. This quiet, secluded and picturesque setting awaits you; where wildlife and wild flowers are breathtaking. Each of the 53 RV sites and 16 cottages, on this 23 acre resort, enjoy some of the most spectacular sunsets in the Texas Hill Country.

Every Season is Different at Hi-Line Lake Resort:
Each season brings its special beauty and fun things to do for the guests.   Springtime is a sight to behold with the wildflowers covering the hillsides.   Summertime has all of the water activities and watching the hang gliders occasionally soar over the resort.  In the wintertime guests look forward to sighting Bald Eagles soaring over the lake.  You can play golf, go boating, and fish year-round in our part of Texas.

Our enclosed fishing dock is perfect for fishing in "all weather."  Come take a look at "Ice Fishing" Texas style!  The dock is lighted and enclosed for fishing inside or outside.  Crappie and catfish are the popular catch, but sometimes White Bass are found to be running through.   If you are staying at the resort, this fishing dock is included in your stay.  You are welcome to fish from the dock even if you are not staying at the resort.  It is $5.00 per person.  Keep in mind the dock closes at 6:00 PM for Day Guest.  Minnows, worms, chicken livers and some frozen bait can be purchased at the dock.

Try your luck for crappie, white bass, large mouth bass, catfish or striper, either from Hi-Line's facilities or with one of the local fishing guides.  Hi-Line offers minnows, worms and frozen bait.

“The Lodge” is the latest addition at Hi-Line Lake Resort.  It is a family reunion, retreat facility, located on the water with a great view of Lake Buchanan.  It is over 2000 sq ft and has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a large kitchen with a bar.  The Lodge has 4 queen-sized beds and 4 bunk beds and will sleep up to 20 people.

All 16 of the rental cottages have been upgraded; some include new kitchens with microwaves and cooktops, outdoor BBQ pits, and color televisions.

The cottages are located on the waterfront and the vastness of this area of the lake right outside your cottage is quite impressive.   You can actually fish from your back yard.

Winter Rates:  Monthly rates are available from October through February for our Winter Texas friends.  Special Midweek Discount:  25% OFF - when you spend 3 days during the middle of the week in any of our cottages from October through February. (This does not include weekends or holidays.)

Sorry, No Pets are Allowed in or around the Cabins. 

All Cabins are non-smoking cabins.

We have 7 RV sites located on the waterfront and 46 RV sites on the hill overlooking the lake.  All sites on the hill are pull-thru with full hook-ups.   We also sell propane and call fill your propane tanks and your RV propane tanks.

The views from the RV Sites are outstanding. If you are a Winter Texan, this is the spot for you to spend the winter.  You will love it here!

RVs

Each hill site has 20-30-50 amp electricity, water, sewer and TV antenna service.   Telephone service can be connected for longterm stay.

We have 4 private full bathrooms with showers for our RV guests.  We also have a laundry room for your convenience.

Monthly sites are metered for electricity.
Each Additional Person more than 2 people .......... $5.00 per day
All day guests .......... $5.00 per day. 
Day guests are welcome at the resort until 6 p.m.

Pets are allowed in the RV Park on a leash.

Our new meeting hall seats 60 -70 people and is ideal for weddings, receptions, meetings, reunions, and seminars.  The meeting hall has 4 bathrooms and a complete modern kitchen with a microwave, stove, and refrigerator.  Air conditioning, heating and several ceiling fans assure your comfort.  A large covered patio adjoining the Meeting Hall offers extra space for your guests.

Hi-Line Lake Resort is located just a short drive from area attractions such as the Vanishing Texas River Cruise which picks up guests at our location, Fall Creek Winery, Longhorn Caverns and Buchanan Dam to name a few.  Many "treasures" can be found in local antique and gift shops as well.  Our Tow, Texas hospitality will welcome you to stay a day...a week...or a lifetime.

Directions to Hi-Line Lake Resort:

From West Texas:
From Llano, Texas go east on Hwy 29 to 2241 at the east edge of Llano
Turn left on 2241 and go to the Bluffton Store
Turn left at the Bluffton Store  (it will still be 2241)
Go 4.4 miles to 3014 and turn right
Go 2.2 miles and turn left at our Hi-Line Lake Resort sign at the boat.

From North Austin:
Go north on Hwy 183 or I-35 to Hwy 29
Go west on Hwy 29 to 261 on the west side of Lake Buchanan.
Turn right on 261and go 8.8 miles to 2241 (at the Bluffton Store)
Turn right on 2241 and go 4.4 miles to 3014
Turn right on 3014 and go 2.2 miles and turn left at our sign at the boat.

From South Austin:
Go Hwy 71 west to Hwy 281; turn right and go to Marble Falls; turn left on 1431 (main signal light); stay on 1431 until it dead ends into 261; turn left on 261; go 7 miles to Bluffton; turn right on 2241 (at the Bluffton Store) and go 4 miles; turn right on 3014 and go 2 miles; turn left at our sign at the boat.

From Dallas/Ft. Worth:
Go south on I-35 to Hwy 29 in Georgetown
Go west on Hwy 29 to 261 on the west side of Lake Buchanan.
Turn right on 261and go 8.8 miles to 2241 (at the Bluffton Store)
Turn right on 2241 and go 4.4 miles to 3014
Turn right on 3014 and go 2.2 miles and turn left at our sign at the boat.

From San Antonio:
