BlancoThe city of Blanco is located on the Blanco River
and has a nice large park at the dam on the river for tourists to enjoy. They have

is located approximately half way between San Antonio and Austin, approximately 14 miles
northeast of New Braunfels on FM 306 west from IH-35.

Jefferson The
historic steamboat port of Jefferson has steamboat tours, the steam train and the
paddlewheel steamer. There is plenty of shopping with dozens of antique and gift
shops. Located on Highway 59 in northeast Texas.
Kingsland Locatedon Lake LBJ where the Llano and Colorado rivers join the lake. Popular for
boating, fishing, swimming, arts & crafts festivals. A great
place to rent a lake cabin for the weekend or park your RV. Located 60 miles
northwest of Austin.Both a recreation and retirement town.
LeakeyLeakey is sometimes referred to as "The Swiss Alps of
Texas", area elevations range from 1,500 to 2,400 feet with deep canyons cut by the
Frio and Nueces Rivers. The Frio River offers anything from whitewater rapids to
flats to swimming holes and great fishing.
New BraunfelsThis
interesting city is located between Austin and San Antonio. If you make the drive to San
Antonio or Austin, plan some extra time for New Braunfels.
Port
Aransas Located on the Gulf of Mexico. Popular for the
beaches, boating, fishing, cruises and tours, swimming, sunbathing, tourists stores.
Salado If
you are driving on Interstate 35, you sure don't want to miss this popular tourist town.
