Lake Marble Falls is the fourth lake in the Highland Lakes chain on the Colorado River, nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Stretching 5.75 miles in length and reaching up to 1,080 feet at its widest point, it's a favorite destination for boating and waterskiing enthusiasts.

Located in the vibrant town of Marble Falls—about 45 miles northwest of Austin—Lake Marble Falls is easily accessible. From Austin, you can take Highway 71 west and then head north on Highway 281, or take Highway 1431 west from Cedar Park on the city’s north side.

The lake buzzes with recreational activity year-round and is home to the annual Cigarette Boat Races, a thrilling event that draws spectators from across the region.

Visitors will find plenty of accommodation options, including RV parks, cozy bed & breakfasts, motels, and rental cabins. In town, Marble Falls offers a variety of shopping opportunities, from charming antique stores and gift shops to a Walmart Supercenter and a full-sized grocery store.
